Botulinium Toxin (Botox and Myobloc)

In addition to treating wrinkles, Botox and Myobloc are useful for treating chronic pain. The most common pain problem treated is resistant muscle spasms of the neck, shoulders or back. Resistant headaches, either migraines or chronic tension headaches, are also commonly treated with botulinium toxin.
