Epiduroscopy
Epiduroscopy is a safe and effective way to treat scarring in the epidural space of the spinal cord that can be causing you pain. In epidurscopy, we place a flexible scope into the epidural space so that we can look directly at the structures in this area and find what is causing the pain in order to treat it.
Scarring in the epidural space can happen after surgery or just as a part of getting old. Epiduroscopy allows the Helm Center specialists to treat conditions that arise in the epidural space without surgery. It is done as an outpatient procedure, and because it’s non-surgical, recovery is very short.
